  • The Club 2010

The 2010 dive year really took off when 29 members descended on Lulworth Dorset for a weeks excellent wreck and reef diving. Other succesful dives this year include Lands End, Norfolk, Littlehampton and Southwold.

When we are not busy diving we will still be having fun with social events and training. We meet at Fore Street pool on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm, and afterwards at the Admiral Nelson nearby. Currently we have in the region of 60 members. If you are interested in joining our club, please get in touch. We frequently do tryout sessions and if you have not been a club diver previously, do come and talk to us and see what we have to offer.

  • Branch 32 Established 1956

We are branch 32 of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) which has 1500 branches world-wide - over 150 of them outside the UK - and over 50,000 members: the biggest diving club in the world!

Our club follows the BSAC syllabus for diver training and we award BSAC qualifications. We accept divers with PADI qualifications, transferring to the BSAC equivalent.

The objectives of our club are to provide training to enable our members to develop their skills and to organise dives locally, around the UK and abroad.

  • First Clubmark Dive Club

We have a strong social and community agenda, providing the first scuba diving experiences for many young swimmers from Ipswich and the surrounding area. As a result we are the first dive club in the UK to achieve the Clubmark registration. We are also members of the Team Ipswich initiative aimed at developing sport in the Ipswich area
